Frequently Asked Questions

How do I play with a friend nearby?

Open a two-player game like Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect Four, Checkers, Chess, or Spades, choose the Nearby multiplayer option, and either host a game or join one already open. Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network with Local Network access allowed.

GamesCorner isn't finding nearby players

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network on your device and make sure GamesCorner is turned on. Then confirm both players' devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and try hosting or joining again.

How does online multiplayer work?

Online matches use Game Center, so you'll need to be signed in with your Apple Account. From Settings, tap "Sign In to Game Center" if you haven't already, then use the online multiplayer option inside a supported game to get matched or invite a friend.

I bought Remove Ads but I'm still seeing ads

Open Settings and tap "Restore Purchases" under the Ads section. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account used to make the original purchase. If ads still appear after restoring, email us and we'll help sort it out.

What are rewarded ads for?

Rewarded ads are optional and only appear when you choose to watch one — for example, for an extra hint in Sudoku or an extra undo in 2048, Klondike, Spider, or FreeCell. If you've purchased Remove Ads, you get these bonuses automatically without watching anything.

How is my progress saved?

Your stats, saved games, favorites, and daily challenge progress are stored locally on your device. If you'd like to start fresh, go to Settings and tap "Reset All Progress." This can't be undone, so use it only if you're sure.

Do I need an internet connection to play?

No — every game can be played solo or pass-and-play without a connection. You'll only need internet for online (Game Center) multiplayer and for ads to load.

I found a bug or have feedback
